Europe
Matt Turner
Matt is a founding partner of Meridia Wealth, specialising in financial advice for British and European expats living across the continent. He works with clients on savings, investments, pensions, cross-border planning and wealth structuring, with the firm's heaviest focus in France, Spain and Portugal.
His approach is the one the whole firm is built on: understand a client's full situation and risk appetite first, then build advice that fits the person rather than reaching for a product. For clients moving to Europe, that means a single point of contact for the financial side and a trusted network for everything else.
Europe
Remy Hart
Remy spent seven years trading financial markets independently before moving into advice full time. He rose from financial planner to partner within his first year, and in one full quarter was ranked the top wealth manager in Europe across a firm of more than five hundred advisers.
He has lived as a UK expat in Marbella since 2018, which is exactly why his advice sounds less like theory. He has made the same pension and tax decisions his clients are weighing, and now advises British and European expats on pensions, cross-border tax residency and wealth structuring.
US arm
Jacob Shelton
Jacob heads the US arm of Meridia Wealth, working exclusively with American citizens living abroad. Being a US person carries a distinct set of rules on retirement accounts, tax reporting and what you are even allowed to invest in, and it is not something a local European adviser typically knows how to navigate.
He advises on 401(k) and IRA decisions once you have left the US, FATCA and PFIC aware investment structuring, and planning around the relevant US tax treaties, so an American client's finances stay compliant and efficient on both sides of the Atlantic.
